F3 arrives at Leeming

Tornado F3 ZE734 arrives at Leeming on its last flight. It joined 62 other F3's that have been processed in the recycling in support of the Tornado GR4A (of which the F3 is 80% compatible). The Tornado is being replaced by the more capable Eurofighter Typhoon. 6 Sqd has replaced 111 Sqd in the northern quick reaction alert role protecting the northern areas of UK airspace
